EPFL provides AI education through courses and projects for students in all faculties, with opportunities for continuous learning available to the broader community. This educational emphasis is not limited to specific EPFL departments or faculties as we ensure institution-wide coordination to create an integrated approach to AI teaching and education.
Propelling AI forward: Building an AI ecosystem
The EPFL AI Center builds on an interdisciplinary community for teaching consisting of 60+ professors, 400+ researchers working on all aspects of AI.
EPFL AI Center’s efforts extend beyond EPFL, reaching out to the broader community. One of the ways we achieve this is through the organization of workshops and conferences, with the notable example being the Applied Machine Learning Days (AMLD), recognized as one of the Europe’s largest AI conferences. AMLD is an opportunity for experts, professionals and enthusiasts to come together, fostering a collaborative environment for the exchange of ideas and insights in the rapidly evolving field of AI.
Through a combination of AI-related courses, hands-on projects and impactful events, we strive to empower students and the community alike with the skills and insights to navigate the challenges and opportunities presented by the dynamic field of AI.
With this collaborative approach, we are aiming to transfer EPFL’s expert understanding of crucial AI technologies to society.
