Three SNSF Advanced Grants awarded to EPFL researchers

Published

The Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) has awarded three “SNSF Advanced Grants” to EPFL researchers, including Florent Krzakala in the School of Engineering.

Congratulations to Pascal Fua (IC), Bruno Lemaitre (SV), and Florent Krzakala (SB/STI)!

The SNSF Advanced Grants area a transitional measure by the federal government. They were created when researchers at Swiss universities were not eligible to apply for the ERC Advanced Grants, as a consequence of the non-association of Switzerland to Horizon Europe.

This was the last Advanced Grants call from the SNSF. In the next round, established researchers based in Swiss universities can again apply for an ERC Advanced Grant.
